Cats

Had another fucked up dream last night. I was at this big giant party that for some reason resembled my cousin's house. There was a DJ and he had one of my Shonen Knife CDs. I was sitting down watching a movie while the DJ was playing my CD and at the end I had to go get it back. It didn't make too much sense.

Anyway, this entry is supposed to be about my cats. This is kind of sad. Most people have cast pages, but I have a cats page. At least they're anagrams.
1. Alex - That cat was a freaggin' trooper. He was eight years older than me, and died when he was almost 20 (in people years). He was declawed, and when I was a toddler, he would smack me in the head because he didn't like me too much. I would be lying on the floor and I'd just feel this rapping on my temple. It was pretty freakin' funny.
2. Tinkerbell - Ok, this cat has had more names than Prince. When we first got her, we called her Furrball, but we didn't really like that name, and called her Furbie a lot (long before the toy). Then for some reason someone thought it would be cute to call her Stinky, and the name stuck. However now, we usually call her Tink, so I decided to say that "Tink" was short for "Tinkerbell" instead of "Stinky". She's a big fat tortoiseshell, and she's about 11.
3. Sparky - He's a really perky 8 year old striped gray cat. He has always had a thirst for the outdoors (our cats are supposed to be indoor), and rushes out whenever anyone leaves the screen door open for too long. We used to only have to lock the door (he can open sliding glass doors - even the really big heavy one), but he eventually broke the little plastic lock. I kid you not. He pulled at the screen so much that the little plastic lock thingy broke. So we had to put a weird lock system on the door that even he can't screw up. We've had to put over the bottom half of our sliding screen door because it got to the point where he would claw a big hole in the screen and climb out through it. He was dropped off at our house about 8 years ago by a weird van full of gypsies.
4. Abbey - When we got her, I really really really loved the Beatles (I still do, but not so much), and that's why her name is spelled like their one album. She's a crazy little motherfucker, only about seven months old. For some reason, she has barely grown. Our guess is that she was the runt and taken away from her mother too soon (someone found her - all our cats have been strays at one point), because she'll wake my mom up in the middle of the night by trying to suckle in her hair. Abbey is most definitely our bitchiest cat. If you pick her up, she'll claw her way up onto your shoulder and when she's done being on your shoulder, she'll scratch the fuck out of you trying to get down. She's so motherfucking cute, though.

I also have a reallllllllly cute puppy named Dexter. He's not really a puppy anymore, but we still call him that because he's so puppy-ish. I'm not much of a dog person, though. They've scared the living shit out of me ever since a certain bastard German Shepherd bit me.
For the next few days, I'll be in the Bahamas, so I'll talk to you-all people later. I'll also probably be stuffing my face because food is yum. I'M PROLLY EATING RIGHT NOW! Also, when I get back, I may not update it for a little bit because I desperately need to finish my Spanish vocabulary before school starts, which is painfully soon. I'm going to try to ban myself from the internet until then, but it probably won't work. Oh well. I should be writing here again before the end of August. FEEL FREE TO CLIX ME!
